At this moment (14-2-2005) we are in Trinidad and are heading for Panama.
In Trinidad an friend of us was waiting for us. Henry from Muenchen, who is travelling alone. A modest sailer who sais he has to learn a lot, but manages to sail everything alone. For the Atlantic Crossing he paired up with someone he met via the internet. Henry films several Islands always in relation to the sailing.
Carnaval is just finished in Trinidad. We were not on time to enjoy this festival, because the Mignon was out of the water in Granada for cleaning and serveral repairs / maintenance.
Yesterday (13-2) the Mignon was in the water again and we sailed directly to Trinidad that evening. Where we arrived this morning. As you see we were very busy.
St.Lucia en Martinique were beautiful, but Bequia ans the Tobago Cays were the best we have seen so far in the Caribic. On monday we will head for the Los Testigos Islands and then to Isla Margareta.Were we will stay in Polamar. Here we will probably fill our ship with proviand. From Margareta we will continue to the ABC islands (Aruba, Bonaire and Curacao) ,Cartagena in Columbia and then the St.Blas islands. And we hope to go through the Panama Canal in March.
And if everything goes well we are planning to be in New Zealand in November this year.
